A man running an investment club from offices on Lake Worth Road promised to double investors’ money, but instead conned more than 1,000 people out of their cash, Palm Beach County sheriff’s officials warned Wednesday.
Investigators say “investors” would give George Theodule at least $3,000 and sometimes more than $20,000 to invest. He promised returns between 90 percent and 100 percent within three months.
The club at 8401 Lake Worth Road in suburban Lake Worth went by the name United Investment Club or Creative Capital Concepts.
Authorities say Theodule, 48, primarily targeted Haitians. Theodule is not in custody. “He’s in the wind,” Detective Adam Fox of the sheriff’s office financial crimes unit said Wednesday.
Public records indicate that until recently Theodule lived in Wellington and has a current address in Georgia.
Anyone who had financial dealings with Theodule or these investment companies is asked to contact agent Neptine Diejustie of the Florida Office of Financial Regulation in Miami: (305) 536-0467.

Regarding the blog Feb 26, 2008 asking if Skyler Hinkle is on the “up and up”: The blog was clearly posted by someone trying to tarnish the reputation of an honest business man, therefore we will blog the truth, that we have paper documented proof, which is backed up by executed contracts between two attorneys, one on behalf of Skyler, the other on behalf of Theodule, and is available for all the world to see regarding the one and only transaction Skyler ever had with Theodule. FACT: Skyler had a co-development agreement along with two other developers in the Orlando area on a 325 unit hotel condominium development project that George Theodule attempted to purchase the land on. Skyler’s attorney backed him out of the project when construction funding was noted to be nearly impossible to obtain at that time. After backing out of the codevelopment for the Orlando project, Skyler has never spoken to Theodule since. Any other blog’s or statements made in this blog where Skyler reputation is being examined will be of high interest to Skyler’s attorneys. I should know, I worked for him over five years and he’s a paperwork and documentation fanatic. I am paid to keep an eye on this site for issues just like this where he or his wife are mentioned in any content.
Im so happy that this blog kept going. We deserve justice and all the lies that george theodule and his wife dorothy posted on this blog as we all know they got pissed off and decided to bash all the people that they couldn’t scam. they decided to write a bunch of lies about people that we all know and care for. im glad to see that josue solomon and ron and skyler and his wife Rosa and casimir etc are doing great. We all need to stand together and not let george theodule blog lies about all of these people and give us our money that he stole back! Let’s keep going people we will get justice. All the people that george wrote bad about were people that he couldn’t scam and dorothy and george theodule got pissed of! how sad! they are honest people!
